Prayer Breakfast Fellowship - at Downsview Methodist Church Hall on the first Saturday of each month. Breakfast will commence at 9.00am followed, at approximately 10.00am, by a time of reflection and prayer, ending at approximately 11.00am.

This is open to everybody, an opportunity to share food, share concerns and speak to God. So please come and join us on 4th February , lead by Mrs Val Anstey, and 3rd March, lead by Mrs Ann Atkins. All are welcome.

Thursday Lunch time Concerts - Shirley Methodist Church, 1.15 - 1.50pm, the first Thursday of the month (admission FREE).

Programme: 2nd Feb - Linda Chan, piano. Music by Debussy, Liszt, Chopin and Dohnanyi.

1st March - a jazz group from Royal Russell School.

5th April - No concert (Holy Week).

3rd May - George French, organ. Programme to be confirmed.

7th June - David Hughes, baritone, and Clare Lynel Jones, piano. Songs by Handel, Henry Lamb, John Braham, Vaughan Williams and Peter Warlock. Piano items to be confirmed.

Concert goers are invited to bring their own packed lunch and free tea, coffee and fruit juice will be provided. Further information from Paul Davies 020 8651 0705.

 

The Guild - at Shirley Methodist Church, meeting on Thursday at 8.00pm. A very warm welcome is extended to all ages and both sexes. We aim to have a caring fellowship and a varied programme. For programme details click here
